Founded 1908 to acquire from the Perm Corporation the entire share capital of the Kyshtim Mining Works, a Russian company established 1900. Mined for copper, and also some gold and iron in the 2198 square miles Kyschtim estate (near Ekaterinburg in the Ural Mountains). Later to become US President Herbert Hoover, but at the time a mining engineer, played a significant role in the Kyshtim Corp. from late 1909 onwards. This high denomination is new to us.
