PARIS. Action de F500. blue, black. #12400. No 10683. Pretty border with a boy and girl pouring water or wine, horses with allegorical figures, etc. Founded by M. Raoul Bravais, a Paris-based pharmacist. According to the company rules, the company was to produce 'Quinquina Bravais' (quinquina being an aromatised wine, a variety of apéritif wine), but also 'dialyzed iron' as patented by M. Bravais and his mineral waters. All these products would have curing effects. The business was located on the Av. de l'Opéra. His competitors claimed in court that M. Bravais didn't have a degree in pharmacy. As a result, the court ordered the foreclosure of the pharmacy in 1882. Only this one piece is known to us.
