Inc. in the 1830s to mine coal and rail it, in the coalfields of Schuylkill and Dauphin counties. The line probably ran along the Williams river, taking the coal to the Susquehanna river north of Harrisburg. Fine vignettes, of Penn, Mercury, and others, also coat of arms, coal-mining scenes, and more. Rare to find so many vignettes on such an early. Only three pieces are known to us (all 1839).
