AMSTERDAM. Cert. van Fl.1200. red, buff, black. No 642. This British company operated the restaurants of the famous Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam. These consisted of the 'Reflet' restaurant, dating from the Belle Epoque, and serving Burgundy cuisine, as well as the Winter Garden, a glass palace dating from1880, where breakfast and lunch are served. Both places are listed as national monuments. The hotel, right across from the Royal Palace, is still regarded as the 5-star hotel with the best reputation in the Netherlands. Today part of the multinational NH Hotel Group.
