Design of a very large bottle of La Rhodine. The company was founded in 1901 and its headquarters were situated in Aisne, whereas production facilities were situated in the city Cires-les-Mello (Picardie). It produced "La Rhodine", the text on the bottle refers to it as "the liquor of the Knighthood of Rhodes". Below the bottle one can find a red clawed cross (Tatzenkreuz), the symbol of the Templar, the Knighthood which had their headquarters in Jerusalem, on the ruins of the Temple of King Solomon. Their main goals consisted in defending the many pilgrims to Jerusalem. Although the individual Templars adhered to poverty, the Knighthood itself becamevery powerful and rich, which would finally lead to its defeat in 1312, when it was forbidden by the Council of Vienna.
